A Message from our owner
Cemetery memorials go by many names: monument, marker, headstone, gravestone or tombstone. Regardless of what you call them, they all serve one purpose – to honor the memory of our loved ones. The ultimate goal of any memorial is to capture the uniqueness of each person and to translate it into a piece of art that is quite literally “etched in stone.”
This process can be overwhelming. After all, how can our thoughts, feelings and memories of a loved one be summed up into just words and symbols? The answer is, by working with a memorialist who designs each memorial as an individual expression of love for the person whom it represents.
At Eternal Light Monuments, we treat our work as an art form. When designing your monument or marker with us, we assure that each memorial functions as a permanent testament of who your loved one was, and what they will always mean to you.
I invite you to contact me directly, day or night, with any questions or concerns you may have, at (312) 203-6807. Also, please see our FAQ section below to find answers to frequently asked questions about the monument design process.
At Eternal Light Monuments, we are always ready and willing to provide you with the most meaningful, appropriate and affordable memorials.
Thank you,

Our memorialists can provide quotes directly and provide budgetary guidance on the most economical granite colors, size dimensions and etching options.
We will. Eternal Light Monuments has existing relationships with all Chicagoland area cemeteries, and we work in partnership with cemetery management to ensure that all memorials will be compliant with cemetery guidelines, as well as supervision of the installation and delivery. All cemetery applications and fees are handled by Eternal Light Monuments on your behalf, for your convenience.
Similar to price, the color and size of the granite selected will determine the ultimate amount of time needed to furnish, deliver and install a monument. As a general rule, the vast majority of memorials will require 6-12 months of time from start to finish once a design has been approved.
